Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Biblingual mobile application ("App") operated by Biblingual ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Biblingual is a Bible study app that lets you read scripture in multiple languages, build vocabulary from the text you read, and review words through spaced repetition. Features may change as we continue to develop the App.

2. Account

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Biblingual offers auto-renewing subscriptions managed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings.
• Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies.

4. Content

Bible texts displayed in the App are sourced from third-party translations. We do not claim ownership of scripture content. User-generated data such as vocabulary lists and reading progress belongs to you.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with the App's operation
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the App

6. Intellectual Property

The App's design, code, branding, and original content are the property of Biblingual and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Biblingual shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees during the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the latest changes took effect. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
